what would you buy? (not just cars)

for me nice house in the country, nice workshop,, and a fooking HELICOPTER

 

A decent rolling road and a couple of ramps.

Would leave the rest in the bank as cant think of anything else i want at the moment TBH

 

yep both would be in my workshop, along with lathe, miller, tidy tig welder

 

how much intrest would you get on a amount like that, im guessing 6% would be easy to find? 8-10 maybe?

 

theres a place down near my mate in cornwall that has a big house, few cottages, various outbuildings and a lake, something like 66 acres. that would be mine and
the outbuildings would be converted to garages.

oh and id buy a throne and a crown

I'd buy a load of cheap property, and spend my time divided between looking after that, and track days, various adrenalin seeking thrills.

I work next door to ferrari and maserati and bently and everytime i walk through there workshop theres always something wrong wiv em,apparantly they keep breaking down after 20000miles cos the engine managements fook up all the time,i think they all suck and those bentleys are for big gap toothed P.I.M.P.S, (pricks. in. money. poncing .suits)

 

Phil, trade price on a silver 348 with full service history, even RHD isnt much over 20k, if whoever sold you yours convinced you otherwise then fairplay to them!

I didnt say your car was worth exactly 20K, i said it wasnt worth much over 20K, ie not worth 30K for example (which is much more than 20K)

Its not rocket science Phil, even you should be able to grasp the fact!

Its a cheap and cheerful ferrari, im not dissing it, i actually think its quite a nice car, my mate has had a 348 for years and ive always quite liked them, but at the end of the day a silver 10 year old (or whatever) 348 doesnt suddenly make you Rich in the way most people use the word!

Talking of Enzos I would deffo be shipping one of those in if I win the Ł66m and a Carrera GT, and a Macca F1 LM.

Helicopters are way cool as well Gareth. I know the big ones are mega expensive but the little ones aren't as crazy as you think!

 

Phil, just to gauge how good a car dealer you are, how much did you sell your 3door for?

I dont believe there is a "book price" for a 3 door mate, but 4300 must have felt nice to you as i know how much you love to be buttfucked!

So go on then Phil, how much do YOU think is a good price to buy a silver 348 RHD (with service history thats horrificly overdue, 3 years over in fact IIRC, on the cambelt) for?

 

Chip unlike some....the car needed welding to the front which was cleverly disguised..in fact looked so good it was factory....until the filler cracked ..as i was saying unlike some i was honest...and instead of bodging it and keeping quiet and selling for say 6.5k without the 2k' of goodies and making a profit i decieded that one should never stitch up a fellow Ford freak...so after checking the books Ł4300 was the book price WITHOUT innerwing cracking...so i got my money back...made mark a happy chap in giving him his first 3 dr whilst i was safe in the knowledge i never stiffed him...i feel good about that...dealer goes out the window if you are in a certain group passionate for fords So call me what you want Chimp.... You dont have to be crooked to make money

As for 348's.....my car ismint not the best selling colour which was to my advantage.....its worth around 28k to the right person....not a car to buy and sell though...would take ages to sell it.....an equvilant red 348 is 30k for the equivilant year....a silver lhd would go for about 22k and a red lhd for 25k....

Cambelt is 2 years over but the milege is only 10k in 5 years...book is all stamped by Ferrari dealer.....FULLY

Thats IF it was full history (which it isnt as history on a 348 is milage dependant AND time dependant) and thats after you have spent 2K on it for a service.

and thats only to the right person at full retail price from a dealer with a warranty, not bought trade.

So how the hell does that not equal to "not much over 20K at trade price" like i said in the first fucking place????????

 

If I won Ł66m, I'd be travelling to/from work in one of these (I'd buy the property next door to work, and convert that to a landing pad; same with the petrol station and garages over the road from my house)!



Or I could just buy the property next to work, and convert it into a mansion!

..as said where do you get the TRADE figures? In a Ferrari dealer this is 30k and the red 33k.....and it has FULL HISTORY no descrepancies...its good to be TRADE. ...but then its only gonna be sold when i can afford the silver F430

Double the service interval on a cambelt doesnt qualify as a gap nowadays then?
