Righty, as we all know, passionford on tour 2005 is going to the ring

who will be doing what to record the events?

my setup will be as follows

Camcorder for recording normal stuff and spectating etc etc
Digital camera for picture stills

Miniture colour camera mounted in my front bumper connected to a 12 volt vcr for track recording and secret filming while going round the ring - this should get some fantastic video footage for a dvd which i will produce when the trip is done

 

i have an in car camera mount for my digital camera.

i also will have my laptop with my professional webcam than can do clear 640x480

that will be recording our antics enroute

 

anyone got a batter operated hair trimming razer thing? - i feel some jackass coming along

 

Craig you need to hide the camera in behind the grill or something, that seat mount you have will get you thrown out of the ring, they do NOT allow filiming.

 

VW lads had it sussed with a proper quality set up the other month, amazing footage as well

 

Yep that footage they got while we were here was fooking awesome!

 

Remember watching that in the bar and it was better quality than any tv fotage i have seen

 

Was pretty amusing when Chris wandered into the bar, unplugged the widescreen telly and connect his laptop up to play it all back, top nights entertainment seeing what you've all been up to that very day, i cant believe how quickly he had it all edited up and soundtrack put on it etc

 

Which RING you on about recording then

 

How about you ask them if you can.... just say your doing it for a website non comertial and they can view the footage before you put it up

How about they then confiscate the equipment and ban you from the ring?

Its really not something they are flexible on unless its for "pukka journalists"
