Peeps were chatting last night about the reason we havent seen Doug at the weston PF meet for a while now, top runners so far are:

He has a new girlfriend but her parents insist her bedtime is 9pm, which means he cant drop her back in time if they go to weston

He has fallen out with one of more of us for some reason (although none of us know who or why, im the current favourite due to being a mouthy coont )

He got fed up saying "in two weeks" when asked about his car so is waiting till its finished

He has decided to sell the Escos and buy an Evo and is now above talking to us

He is starting a new life as "Dannielle Stirling" soon and doesnt want to come out in the middle of a series of ops and is waiting till the transformation is complete

He has realised his whole life has been a lie and is in fact gay and is worried that due to my immense animal magnetism he wont be able to resist touching me in public and outing himself.

Its too hot for him to venture outside his airconditioned mansion

He has become addicted to crack and no longer has enough money for petrol

He is in training for the mondeo estate touring car series to be launched later this year at silverstone

about 2 hours worth of thinking up conspiracy theories, that was my initial clue...a further one came when you added the 'come back doug we miss you' bit to the end of the post....that shows sheer desperation for someone to talk to

 

Was about 4 mins of thinking TBH, i obviously process nonsense quicker than you can (although being female you should have a genetic advantage TBH).

I do indeed have more than a passing interest in his whereabouts Katie, ive always enjoyed Dougs company, as have the rest of the weston crew, he is a very much "liked by all" kind of guy, even the waitress in pizzahut has been asking after him!

Thanks to all those replying so far for not pointing out my in the foot when i titled it "consipracy theories" and then went on to give a load of options none of which contained anything that was vaguely a conspiracy as none of them involved and third party at all interfering with the legendary doug stirling in any way, so no conspiracy present

on a serious note could it be because there are more none ford owners at the meet that ford owners maybe doug does not think its a ford meet anymore so will not go and that would be a shame as before i started going to them i hated ford as i told everyone on here on my first ever post but after the meets i have started to like the idea of a cossie and will prob buy one as soon as the gte is how i want it shame really

 

No mate, im probably over confident if anything TBH
But thats the nature of my job really, when you are going into large companies as an expert to solve their problems you have to come across as mega confident for them to put any faith in you, that often gets mistaken for arrogance i guess which is how some people interpret me, but in fact im actually a very humble guy really, im always willing to listen and learn.

 

yip i teach chip about nuclear reactors so he listens sometimes oh and making oxygen ( i am lieing about this i have never told anyone anything about reactors or making oxygen) if you have to ask why i wrote that you do not need to know( the internet can be far to open sometimes)

 

Lol @ Rob, yes thats a perfect example, if you werent covered by non discolsure documents, and if you did in fact teach me about naval spec nuclear reactors, im sure i would listen intently and be very humble and absorb the information not be an arrogant coont and try to claim to know better!
