Can I have some boost yet??

Its running really nicely, but really finding it hard to keep the Boost Gauge low.

 

 

The miles will fly in quicker than?....THAN all the smug faced little twats that are able to pass you atm

1 of the new valves that was suplied to my engine builder failed, part of the valve head dropping into the bottom end, destroying the engine.

 

drive down to london to hand deliver me a thermostat

 

Sad for you pal, feel free to drop down to mine for a weekend to drink away the memories of partially constructed valve head

Andy, Im really sorry to hear that. Your car has always been an inspiration due to the different approach, which I like. I hope you get it sorted without too much pain. I know if mine failed, I would struggle to find the money and the will to rebuild it again.

Mine was seeing boost from 500miles but only 6 psi and below 4k rpm!

It was soooo annoying!

 

Wow Daz that is one seriously responsive engine if you can see positive boost pressure at only 4RPM. Mine wont even tick over at that!!

I'm hoping to start bringing some boost in after 500 Miles. Maybe 7psi! That'll be something to look forward.

 

Runnin ok now christian ofter first mappin session lol other stuff to do but things feel good be nice to run at pod and track she how it responds.

maybe fully mapped for ND Thats my first time on track as im off on hols soon just want same as lastime no more but it seems the efi makes it better in the middle and easyier to even things out.
Dont think it will top 160 due to the gears but we will c,hope its faster at pod as i like it alot there.
