that is all ready asked many times before..
ok the question is I want to put a chip in my RST but what chip should I get?? I was thinking about a Bayjoo chip, anyone here how has some expirience whit it?? if it is good or bad?? or are there any better option??
I want to fit the chip in de ecu by my self can I do that also?? or must it be done by a professional (to program) or does the chip program's it self during a drive??
thanks to everyone..

personally id go for bayjoo chip and have it fitted by a pro,as it will also invalidate your warranty if you fit yourself, these chips are good i had one in my old car and used with a decent turbo, cams, you will see good results

Time for a little essay, lol...

All chips are pretty much the same to a degree, they have an ignition "curve" mapped into them which cannot be altered. They are all perfect for moderate power, say around 200 - 230ish.

I had a Power Engineering chip in my car many moons ago and at the time Chris there explained the differences between his chips and a Bayjoo chip, just as an example. I didn't think too much of it at the time. Then about a year later my car was 250bhp @ fly @ 24psi. The car used to make peak power at 5300 rpm, and then there was a flat spot where there was a loss of 20bhp and 30lbs/ft torque. Which was shown on the rolling road and you could actually feel in 4th and 5th gear. Then it would pick up slightly over 6000 rpm. Shame I haven't got the pictures to show you anymore.

I remembered Chris telling me about the ignition curves. The PE chip backs off the ignition timing towards the top end for saftey. This normally wouldn't be noticed but because of the power and boost I was running it was a bit of a problem on my car. A Bayjoo chip (so I have been told) backs the timing off alot earlier down the rev range, around 2000 - 3000 rpm so that you think your car is pulling more because the timing comes back in just as your turbo is.

After a discussion with Tony @ Turbosystems the best thing for my car at the time would have been to get a chip written by him with a "linear ignition curve", basically a straight line, which would keep the ignition at the top . The plan was to do this after TOTB2, but unfortunatly that engine threw a rod on the way there so I never got the chance to try it out.

I hope this helps you
