Default FAO Lee R21Turbo

Lee,

My MSN keeps dropping out and disappearing, so the questions I were going to ask were:

Does your turbo already have a threaded connector sticking proud?

Does the block have a connector sticking out of it at all?

Pics if you could would be very handy!

LOL..wondered where you'd gone....

Turbo has threaded connection - standard cossie size.

Block has no connector sticking out - its female.

This pic is the old feed pipe (top) and the new one - both identical size - the aeroquip fitting is the same as an 044 pump as discussed.

Anything else you need just holler!!

Cool - on the case!

Yuo sure that's the inlet size though! That aeroquip fitting look much more like the OUTLET size of the 044 pump........

Lee - you sure mate?!

The low pressure side is twice as big as that! That looks like the outlet side where the power terminals are!

Lee - one last thing.............

How big is the oil feed pipe at the moment.

Can't put anything too small pipe size on there, as it'll restrict the flow..........

Currently half of it is a braided pipe - which looks to be the next size up from a standard cossie item - but then it goes to a thinner metal pipe for the rest of it.

I'm sure that if the whole pipe was the same bore as a cossie item it would be fine - bear in mind that the smallest item its going to encounter is the adaptor into the actual turbo itself.

I'm sure if its good enough for a cossie its good enough for a lowly Reno! LOL!

last question (I can't see the car, so it doesn't help)....

Can the feed pipe come straight out of the block adaptor, or do you want the feed pipe to have an angled fitting?
