Can you help me on this. I bought some seats of a guy on e bay he recons they are escort cossie seats but i am not sure. they havent got the recaro stiched into them for one. the other thing is on the bit where you put your ass they are shorter notice the panels on mine (pic of seat inside the car)it has three large panels the one in the other pic doesent.(pics below) Are they both escort cossie seats.the ones in the other pic look like saff seats coverd in the escort type cloth.
any help much appreciated.

I'd concur with the above, not Recaros, Ford's 'sport seats'

 

A lot of those seats where used in the LHD esc cosworths 2nd pic

 

are you sure, i know the pattern and cloth look the same but the shape of the seat looks different to escoz ones

 

i have seen a few of these seats in various escort cosworths and alway confused me dont remenber them all being motorsports though(probly my memory)there is a leather version like this aswell i have seen somewhere they look naff imo(sorry)

 

The second pic shows escoss motorsport seats from a early motorsport , Im 100% on this as my first escoss was a big turbo motorsport and had the exact same seats fitted

yep these are deffo motorsport versions,think they are basically ford seats covered in hex trim, dont think ford wanted to splash out on these as they would automatically be binned anyway for rallying use,hope you didnt pay too much for em
