Could you???

I have read that you can fit the ECU and The Cams and the Throttle housing from a 130ps 1.8 zetec to the 105 ps and they will be the same, but could you fit this to the 90 ps 1.6, or is this a stupid question?

I think physically they would fit, whether they would do any good would be doubtfull. the 1.6 Zetec is a bit of a lemon when it comes to extracting more power

the bearing journals on the 1.6 are smaller so im led to belive, but you can with no probs on the 1.8s

also the 1.6s are poo when it comes to tuning.

and it just so happens i got a 1.8 engine knocking about

Thanks guys, i think lol, just didnt know, i cant insure anythink more after my incident with the range rover, lol, all i got is a k&N is there much else you can do?

not really worth it tbh, i know a guy that had a 1.6, spent shit loads on it and got about 110bhp....

that was for cams, chip, filter, zorst, PBV etc.

not worth it IMO
