Default Welding my RST

My s2 RST failed its mot today, one thing being rear chaissis legs corroded just above the spings. Got a quote for welding but does anyone out there know if they can be replaced with new ones? Aparently its a common problem but I'd rather replace if possible, anyone had this before with their RST's? Cheers.
