Well its turbo'd so i assumed MAP sensor! as MAF is N/A i believe!?

WRONG COCK NOSE!
VAG turbo engines have a MAF sensor just after the air box.......
And they used to be about Ł300 for a new one
But you can get one on exchange basis for approx Ł75 now

You can get the from any VAG dealer mate, the missus A3 turbo's MAF fooked up....................
If they try and charge you full price, do ask follow:
Extend Hand (any)
Extent middle finger (any)
Whip arse out.....................And tell erm to kiss it!
Then leave.

Whats the big black thing its joined to?
If we was talking about Craigs ex, the answer would be "some random guy called winston from st pauls" but if we on about your cone filter the answer is an airflow meter
Or didnt you fit it yourself?

Yes I knew it ran a MAF sensor on mine steve I did fit the cone filter!
