After much deliberation and wondering whether I could afford to, I thought I'd bite the bullet and get the old girl painted up.

She went in the other week and hopefully I'll get it back this weekend. Can't wait.

New wings, rear arches and tailgate have been put on, along with every last little imperfection taken out.

How much did it cost ?

 

Yeah I drove it into T & G Body repairs in York and they have done the rest. I know one of the guys who owns the place, he used to paint at BMW and his work is second to none. It's costing me 2 grand like but that includes over 50 hours labour prepping the car, buying and fitting wings, arches etc then painting it up.
I'm hoping to get a few more photos from him tonight to dribble over

It's back!!!! Well chuffed with it, just waiting for my badges to arrive and the bumper strips to give me something to do at the weekend. Aside from spending the day cleaning it
N1C4T3N, I'm leaving the pin stripe off. The only reason it was on was someone had painted the lower half of the wings badly before and it was hiding the laquer line.
Got a few more pics, will have more over the weekend when it has all the little finishing touches added
