A number of people have asked what engine modds have been done so i am going to tell everyone what ive told them. I dont actually know what engine modds have been done as they where done prior to me owning the car and i only did the styling of the vehicle. Might be chipped or ECU altered but i really couldnt tell you. Car does have different jelly leads that adds more bhp. Garage told me engine sitting position and gear box had been altered but this was all put back to normal when car was resprayed. Did have a racing clutch but this was replaced with a standard clutch due to problems getting into reverse. I advise all interested parties to come view the car and clock 0-60 yourself and how unbelieveably quick the car is. My friends didnt believe me until they either drove the car or sat next to me with a stop watch and cloced it themselves

LOL yeah I just wish it wasn't a load of old tosh as the car actually doesn't look too bad for a 5 door. I know better than to believe stuff that people say on eBay tho.....

only guessing but 6 seconds to 60 must be in the region of 200 to 250 bhp which I reckon is pretty damn good for a 1.8.
Good job it's not a 2 litre or it might be a right handful!!

 

Nah Bassett don't add the sort of power you want, Rowntree are much better
