just got a mint Black Mk4 XR3i. And its clean, I mean really clean to the point where I can;t actually bring myself to do any wild mods on it. I mean everything cept the radio is original! And even the trip computer works.

I am how ever going to change the orange indicators to clear ones at the front. But I'm not sure about the side ones. want ones that dont look aftermarket but are still clear. If you get what I mean.

Not only that, I'm keeping the doglegs on it too they are going to need a re-furb, so should I do anything to em? maybe chrome? and change the red stripping to chrome too?

Any ideas people?

to be honest mate its not worth it
the cars worth nothing and if you throw more cash at it as in turbo it it still wont fetch alot
rsturbos are being bort for Ł600 now and there not that much of a nail either

 

Ł600!!! where is that! i need one! turbos are 'fairly' rare up here and you wont find one for under a grand. at least not with M.O.T that doesnt need a hell of a lot of work!

 

i get offerd some quite regular
most have no mot as ppl dread takin them
i had one that passed with 2 tyres and bushes and sold for a 1000
payed 550 for it
no tax but if was a f plate with 90 spec stuff on
if i get some i will post ya some pics

You will find there are a lot more mint xr3i out there than RST.
1/4 of the price aswell
if your planing to mod it why by a mint rst for a few grand when a xr3i costs a few hundered
