Selling you a new engine is the easy way of saying ... sorry mate we can't be arsed. Find somewhere else if you want to keep that one IMHO

If you want a US 1900, then call Euro Engines - they'll do it for about half of what Grove Charge and they have always been absolutely spot on with me everytime I used em. You can usually get booked in pretty quick too - and if you don't want a US 1900 they will just rebuild your 1.6....
quite a big thread on fiesta turbo. com where a kid has been waiting a year for his new engine. i feel grove just started to fit the big turbo boys in those with the money meaning people they know from the scene. maybe wrong. try specialised engines in grays the have a web site too www.specialisedengines.co.uk i think thats it if not the advertise in the back of one of the ford mags

They are always choc a bloc down there cars rammed in and they really haven't got the time to waste rebuilding engines. Im sure if they did they would be making money doing it not passing work out to other companys don't you think?
Grove garage is the only comapny i know that do not advertise and are always completley booked out and have a waiting list......... That speaks for its self to me
Yes, but ALL tuners have customer who are totally loyal. Like you. Fair play.
BUT, the lad asked for an opinion, and every gave their opinion. Any tuner that says, we can't rebuild yours, but we'll sell you an different expensive one, is copping out. If they were being truly honest they'd say, we don't have time to rebuild it for you, but we can reccomend you go to company X, OR we'll sell you expensive product Y.
