Whats the cost going to be on a kit so I can sort out my cv joint?

Is it best to do both sides or leave the other side till it starts clonking?

Its on its wy out with the bloody front wheels bearings so how much are wheels bearings also?

about 30 quid for cv joint, and around 10-15 quid for one bearing, ive only changed the one which was gone personally, may aswell change the cv gaiters while ur doing it aswell

 

I just paid 120 quid for a new wheel bearing and wheel flange fitted!

The CV kit was about 60 quid extra I think!

 

wheel bearings are so easy to change as are cv joints and gaitors,it should cost you 12 quid for your bearing and 20 to 25 quid for your cv joint and you can use pattern parts from say part co or motorparts direct you dont have to use fords.

 

I agree - £25 for cv and easy to do if your capable with some spanners
