Im after some snowboarding stuff from america but basically ive been told the shop cant sent stuff directly here as the company who makes the stuff dont want it over here on sale til september. Anyone had this problem and got over it Ive tried to use my works delivery address etc but makes no difference

Its only becasue when the stuff comes out over here it will be £100 + more expesive

The only drawback is you will deffo pay import tax/duty so do some research prior to ordering as to what the goods should be declared as to reduce duty. I am not meaning for you to tell porkies to customs but often if you are creative with your description you can reduce import duty eg; declare a stereo car amplifier as a "stereo car amplifier" and you get whacked with 12% duty on the price and then vat on the shipped total inc duty but if you declare the goods as "sound equipment" you get 3% duty but still the dreaded vat.
