After nearly 18months without a car, I now need one again... I leave my job in 2 weeks, so lose my work van, which has been my only transport
And I can't seem to find a car!!!
Problem is, I don't know what I want
I know I don't want anything expensive to run (like RST's) or that will need constant attention/repairs (like RST's) or old cars (like RST's
)
But at the same time I don't want a bog standard boring piece of poo like a Micra or Fiesta etc.....
To give an example, I found a fairly nice Mondeo ST24 for sale locally for £1600 (130k and slight shunt up the arse) and whilst it is a fair price for the car (more than I wanted to lay out, but for the car it is okay) the insurance is £700 and I been told they are quite juicey if you kick em around town.....
So help me out with idea's for cars please chaps! I want something with PAS at least
2yrs in my Transit Connect has left me incapable of driving things without PAS
Bear in mind I am 23 and on a budget, so no 328i Beemers

Would that be up your street?
Mondy Zetec. Quite good cars, not as fast as ST24 but not as thirsty

Money was so-so, not great, but done worse.... But I got offered this new job and I wanna give it a go, see if it all takes off - if it does great, if it don't, then it's back to Autoglass again
