Default need the hieght of a 17inch rim and a 18inch rim

i need my car raised a bit due to the fookin bumper being to low, if i put some 18'' wheels on it how much will it raise the car i.e. what hieght is a 17 inch rim and tyre and what hieght is a 18 inch rim and tyre and what tyre would i need to use on a saff with 18's

yeah , i take it there is a std size tyre that you use when puttin 18's on a saff though, appaerntly 215/35/18

i have a 205/40/17 but i assume i am goin to use 215/35/18 and seeing as i need to raise the car i thought the height diffence might be enough to do it but i dont know what the height diffence is

approx 12mm higher from your current ride when using 18's in that tyre size. however that is assuming full tread depth on both.

cheers buddy, well my fronts are nearly done atm so with new tyres on the 18's i should be raised about 12mm with the new wheels and tyres and another 5mm coz my tyres are worn very low at the front , so approx 17mm altoghter then, cheers matey, thats a big help, dont suppose i would get away with 215/40/18's would i , you dont know the hieght i would gain if i could get away with the 40 profile instead of the 35 do you

225/35 18 top to bottom mine is 600mm

cheers doo but hang on there a minut , 225/25's never heard of them before, how much are those tyres are they a total coont for ride quality, you not mean 35 profile?

My Archs where all ready rolled mate but i think you have to get them done with 225. may get away with rolling on 215

doo a couple of quick question for you if ya dont mind

what offset and size are your wheels?
what size front brakes do you have and disc width?
do you have coilovers on?
