Default ZVH and CVH question????

serious question

well you can put a zetec bottom end onto a cvh head, but can you do it the other way round and stick a 16v zetec head onto a cvh bottom end

has it been tryed and not been sucessfull?? or no one thought of it

Erm id imagine you can but why
The zetec head although ok is FAR more expensive to buy and modify... a Big valve CVH head should be good for well over 300 ponies anyway so unless the rest of the engine was bullet proof its not a problem.
What im trying to say is you may as well stay with the CVH head as its not likely to be the limiting factor.

i doubt u are the first person to think of it!

and i reckon theres none about cus it more than likely doesnt seem a great idea to stick a strong head on a weak bottom end!..unless u steal it all! (not nick either )..
hence the strong bottom end!

or complete 16v turbo engine!

yeah it will bolt on no worries. but the inlet cam will get no oil.

Stick an 1100 head on it and see if you can get the compression so high, it creates its own worm hole.

but thinking back i think its the exhaust that will get no oil. but either way it don't work, or won't work for very long.
