Is 110K alot of miles for a 4x4 cossie?

How many miles should they go for if they have been looked after?

Only asking as thinking of getting one.

Not if its been well looked after. Mines coming up to 100K and apart from the turbo going and a few minor things its been fine and its been tuend to Stage 3 since 74k.
Mind you a Cossie around 110k should go for more than Ł5k. Another 5K on egine and suspension mods and maybe a respray and you've got yourself a junior super-car.

 

My mate has a 4x4 on a H plate with 176,000 miles on it, never been rebuilt so far, one new turbo and a sump gasket, few other minor bits, and it dont smoke, full history mind, by himself, as most cossys get regular if not more oil changes than required by ford service standards..... its definately how you look after them, oh and he knows its never been rebuilt as his dad bought it new and he has had for the last three years....

 

My mates is past 110k+ without a rebuild and his bottom end is much better than my tired 80k bottom end!

All depends on how it's been looked after.

My mates had his for 4 years and except for the head gasket we've just done he's never had a problem

 

they do suffer from head gasket faliuer upgrade to a group a one
