releasing speedo cable Sierra mk1

I've been trying to remove the dash from my cossie to replace it but i can't work out how to release the speedo cable from the panel!!

please help!

you push the end of the plastic bit where it goes into the reciver sideways in one particular position and the it should pull out

i'll be trying tomorrow evening now.

i'll be online tomorrow evening to find out the part number when i break it
