Iv jus finshed puttin a replacement engine into my ERST n after having the usual problem with gettin fuel to the injectors iv finally got the thing started!!

Only problem now is it refuses to idle n jus cuts out if left, also getting blue smoke out the exhaust!!

Some1 please help me, iv been waiting for an RST for years n now iv finally got 1 i cant drive it!!

 

First check you have no air leaks on the intake, next things to check would be CO and ignition timing.

 

Was just gonna suggest air leaks, mine had a big split in one of the boost hoses, once repaired it ticked over nicely

 

Just checked all hoses n all good nick!!

Its annoying me now, is there any good garages in Birmingham that i can take it to?? All the garages by me are crap n i dont trust em to touch it!! Is there any RS specialists local???
