hi do anyone know were the fuel filter is on a escort cosworth and is it hard 2 change? many thanks

Its at the back of car drivers side, and its easy to change.

the car was a smell turbo but has been coverted a big turbo. i have seen a big gray can just above the rear drives side drive shaft? many thanks

if its proper big turbo, then it will be under the boot floor on the drivers side.

It's a small turbo converted to big turbo. If he only see's one can it's in the tank the other is the filter.

Big and small turbos have exact same fuel system. On mine it's a big can on the right side of the fuel tank behind the rear right driveshaft. Quite expensive too ffor a fuel filter.


I don't understand what you are talking about that is to be in the tank.

I just read this again and seen that he was talking about the filter and not the pump. I must be inhaling to many fumes. Sorry about that

Fuel pump is high up above the rear diff.

Should be easy ish to change.

Two banjos either side of the filter and a bracket to loosen off.

it is as yioou suggested above driveshaft, it is straight forward, dont drop the little copper wahsers (they ideally need replacing) and keep your fingers crossed it was changed recenty so wont be seized
