As above, my plugs are biscuit brown (very light brown) so thinking it isn't rich enough, does anyone know what a bayjoo stg3 chip should run at, or what would be a sensible level?

my chip was running 6.8% CO@ idle when it went in for its MOT

we have since turned it down to 4.5% CO @idle but im gonna book the car in for a setup so it is running 100%.

 

about 2.5% on most of em iirc... deffo check with whoever sold u the chip tho.

also doing a plug check at idle tells you naff all mate, only way it'd mean something is if you did a plug chop from a full on "give it some beans" situation... which is not a good idea ona turbo motor.

 

Contact the seller,tuner, mapper etc.. to be 100%

Ring Grove garge 01708 726518 and explain the problem, im sure they will give you some advise.

ahmed chips are never 2.5%, all that ive heard of run veruy high co's at idle unless live mapped

mine was running 9% when i got it, turned it down to 3.5% and it made it lean alittle

but as jano says speak the the guy who set it up

jim mine is a ahmed chip, its been confirmed its one of ahmeds

deffo deffo a ahmed one !!!!

 

DO NOT just mess with the base multiplier willy nilly!!!! it effects fuelling throughout the whole map not just idle

mine is 3.5% at idle on greys - nms mapped

Just to say i have just got a s/h Ahmed chip, If i has a code, then Call SCS and
they can speak to ahmed re-settings etc...

They sorted it out for me, i even know what ron it was written for now !!

i was always told that most tunners set the c/o very rich? as the rich mixture protects the pistons, is that right?
my plugs are just about blackwith the evo chip in as set by m.s.d and the exhaust is also sooty black
