Default It's a Mondeo Jim....

Hi all, I hope Mondeo's are welcome here Had the car for over 4 years now and it was totally standard when I bought it. Future plans may well involve a Cossie transplant, I know this has been done before but i'm unable to find any info/tips etc, so any help would be very appreciated.

Here's my baby.

Hello mate

I suspect Martin @ Reyland would be a good starting point regarding the cossie conversion

hih ziggy, have you considered this focus WRC cosworth block which is a replacement for 2.0 zetec http://www.focussport.com/cosworthblock.htm its not bad for the money. and would be much simpler.

would be good with a big blower and a decent head

p.s. this thread has some useful info on putting a cosworth YB into a mk1 mondeo http://forums.turbosport.co.uk/bbs/s...ad.php?t=84745 with keeping it FWD.

if you want rwd or 4x4, unless your handy with a welder your talking major money to put the sierra floorpan in. i think the mondeo 4x4 running gear could be put on fairly easily but would need upgraded prop and diffs for big power.

This looks really good from your first link Phil, but it's seems an awfull lot of money for what you get, also room for it in the Mondeo engine bay maybe an issue ???

what do you think ?

They claim it can be fitted and running in a day !
