Default URGENT HELP!!!

1st thing, im new, so hi,,

on my s2, the temp is fine, not running hot, but my header tank is swelling up. and so is the hoses to the thermostat and the 1 from the bottom of the header tank

ive flushed the rad, got a new preasure cap,

is this signs of a leaking head gasket,,

any info is most appricvated! as ive spent a fourtuna already,, lol

maybe headgasket pressurisng the header mate, check normal things etc mayo in oil cap, oil in your water, check the small pipe from the top of the thermostat to the header isnt blocked up.

checked all that,, nothing,, but from cold it does get warm quicker than it did!

looks like ill have to change the head gasket then,, but belive it or not, my mate rs is doing the same thing,, is this just a coincidence??

checked the thermostat itself?, might not be opening, if all your pipes are warm u circulation should be ok, heaters warm?, i would double check everything before your wip the head off, then again rst headgaskets can be done in a lunch hour!

yeah the heater comes out warm,, all hoses r normal,, i no my mate has jus put in a 82 degree thermostat, and i think his is still doing it aswell.

as u say head gasket dosent take long, better to do it now b 4 it goes!
