Default front wheel drive quarter times?

hi all, i'm pretty new on here so would like to say hello for a start.

i've just ran a 13.8 1/4 at the pod on sunday at 10psi of boost,
i was just woundering what the rest of the front wheel drive boys and girls are running as its only the 3rd time i've done any drag racing and would like to find out what i'm up against.

thanx

What colour is your car, I'm quite sure I was watching you launch at some point and noticed how well you got it off the line, i remember you doing a 13.8

13.8 is very fast for a RS turbo, they are quick but it seems everyone struggles to get them off the line.

I'd be well happy with that if I was you, goodluck when you get some more boost on it

Whats the actual spec apart from being 2.1 zvh ?

also i think that time made you the 2nd quickest fwd car there, certainly the quickest fwd ford, shame they have these bulls**t categories now

its a mercury gray s2, big blue seats and white 17s, area six in the window.
performace ford featured in feb.

its now runnin t34 but only at 10psi as its still not been mapped yet.

got a ported inlet manifold, quaife diff and new paddle clutch in it now to.

stage 3 fiesta frenzy head, ff double valve springs, kent cam and adjustable pully, ab motorsport chip and injectors, grs intercooler and rad, ofab efi, wrc escos pipercross air filter, mongoose system, thats about it.

koni adjustables and road tyres.

i'm well happy with it on the strip but i know it will go quicker on some sticky tyres.

best get savin up again!!!!

not at the show there wasn't though ! lol

respect to that time though, you cant be running much more than 220bhp I should think at that boost.

I'm running a quaife and about 200bhp, 13.4 but its a nova which is a bit lighter

yer i recon 210bhpm max, terminal was 100.46mph.

gunna be runnin 18psi when mapped, got 22psi chip but dont want to risk anything as its only been built since december.

i didn't see your nova run, but my mrs is big into them and she said she had seen a rapid nova runnin.

glad to see someone has a liking towards novas !

as far as novas go its quick for the h/p it has, I've got plenty to do to it yet, want to set some times like the turbo novas are doing,

respect to your rs's time, well impressive

i ment pics with your new wheels on.

not sure about the qualifer, works being a total arse at the minute and i'd like to fit new front wheel bearings and drive shafts or outer cv joints as their the only things left to replace and i'm really paranoid that their gunna let go

i cant really get the cash together to do that and get it mapped in time as i'm off on holiday soon to, its all fell abit wrong really

They are the same wheels but just new ones as the last set had corroded.
Still think you should do the quailfer, take a boot full of spares and a AA card

Good times. 100mph terminal and a 13 shows u have good grip - ATB will be helping there i think. ZVH's dont need a lot of boost, so on 10psi ur prob doing 220bhp if not more

no i'm pretty sure just a genuine 210bhp

the diff has helped massively, sayin that the standard ford unit was in when i did my 14.13 on my t3 with 14psi and that gripped ok.

Yeah its a Corsa....

Mates got a Nova with pritty much the same spec engine, but he prepps the car for the 1/4 and has a slip diff and hes run a 12.5

Think if I stripped the car , jacked the back end up and put a diff on I might nick a 12 if the wind is blowing my way?

I'm wanting to run it at York this weekend, just got a boost problem to try and rectify!

Already this week it has ripped a mount out of the floor of the car and tore a bolt out of the gearbox..... Oh how I love my car
