The Cossies are also on the same day and again we have ten spaces. Obviously there are some cars that have already posted some times that don't need to attend, so it IS worthwhile coming to see if you or them are selected if you haven't got any times.

 

Noise Reg's @ Brunters

I'm told the locals are getting really pissy about the noise coming from
Brunters.
They now have strict limits including an 87.5 drive by (that's a gnat's
cock higher than Bedford).
They wont be doing Bedford style static tests, but the second a drive by
monitor is tripped it's end of play for that car. And if we have too
many like that it will be end of play for us using the place!
So if/when people do break the limit, they better hope they get a good
set of figures on their one and only run!

I would love to enter my new Fiesta its a 2.1ZVH with the exact same setup as my last car minus a few lbs of torque, confident I can crack a low 13sec' quarter with ease just need the chance to prove it.

Rules of the Day

Noise regs! if u break the noise regs once u will b banned for the day end of!!!!!!!

Basically one car with one driver and one passenger. If the 'passenger'
wants to come in a different car, then they need to meet up BEFORE they
get to brunters and they need to turn up in ONE car.

Anyone turning up with 4 people in their car will simply be turned away.

We will have Redline's Datron timing equipment plus Datron themselves, so
there will be no problems with people not getting enough runs in - as
long as they can stay within the noise limits.

We will be based at the start of the runway and there will be a maximum
of ONE car on the strip at a time. So can you make sure everyone takes a
piss/crap before they go down to the start. The more

As it's summer and the days are long, we intend to start at about 10.00am
and go on until about 7.30pm. 95% of the time, we have the place to
ourselves after about 5.30, so that's when we'll be able to put more
traffic on the strip, the temps will be cooler so the cars should be
faster and the fun and games can start if anyone fancies donut/drifting
practice.

I expect it will be appearing in both Fast Ford and Redline.

 

Every1 who wants to enter TOTB rember it costs Ł85 to enter your car

for that Ł85 u get driver plus one passenger in, and a copy of the dvd of the event afterwards.

The sound energy doubles, yea. It's a tough one. You wouldnt tell the difference between 109 and 112 and prob 115 - to us, they'll sound pretty much the same. On an RST it's easy to get them quiet, plenty of room for a big silencer. With RWD, guess u might struggle for room. A small resonator box at front would help a lot.

Just spoke to Paul & he say's the car wont be ready for the 28th. Car has been fully rebuilt again, but is waiting on some parts for his bigger and better engine.

 

i ran 13.8 at the pod on sunday at classic ford show runnin 10psi.

still waitin to get booked in at groves for my live map and 18psi.
