Best way to connect Xbox Live to the PC?

Hiya guys,

I want to finally live in the now and get the Xbox Live kit tomorrow, but what is the best way to connect to live and still keep the PC online, please?

use a cross over ethernet cable to ya pc that way you use your pc like a router
