Good day, apart from it was freezing... So off for a few beers to warm up

oh and I ran a 13.2 yeah whatever... Ques for too big for my liking, so next time

oh yeah... As I got into the Pod, theres this chap taking pics.. look pro and all that.. I thought nice one mate... might get a mention in a mag or something Then I had a walk round and see a stand, with hundreds of pics of the cars coming in 15 quid tho..

Just got back myself, was in the white nova with black wheels on the back,

I run a 13.4 best and a 13.5 then 2 crap runs but equalled my PB so I'm happy enough.

Scotty run a 10.5 @ approx 136mph just before I left, watched it launch of the start, insane although he gets no traction whatsoever in 1st, its definately got a 9 in it but needs to get soem grip first.

I think it was the NMS MK2 running, didn;t see it runa 10 but I didn't show up till 12 so maybe it done that before I got there, like at the Central Day though it was flying and once again has made me want to get my car finished asap.

I was there trying to sell the 3dr was ok apart from the marshalls thinking they we're god

 

The A1rally sport fiesta and the nms escort had a tear up at the end and both
crossed the line at 10.9

 

Was a quality day Respect to the scooby driver who had the bottle to run against all the old fords just knowing at some point he was gonna get dusted

 

defo some quality motors there but that feckin jet car was crazy,wonder if that will fit in a mk2

What a brilliant day.

The blue Mk2 definitely stood out, in the 10's with terminal speeds of 120 or so, what sort of HP does that have ? As has been said, it puts it down so well !

The A1 Fiesta was phenomenal and obviously has more to come, 0-130mph in 10secs just puts this in another league when you look at performance 'road cars' such 360's, Gallardo'etc. Unbelievable.

2 of my mates got PB's, Chris in the 'Armstrong' MK2 Escort dipping into the 13's for the first time (275bhp 3.9V8) and Toby in the mint green Mk 1 Cortina, pre x-flow, achieving 13.3. Well chuffed and nothing broke !

So many fabulous cars, the Southend based supercharged Mustang was a beast and the Sit up and beg Ford Pop also did itself justice.

Thanks to the lads in the Moonstone G.reg Saph who led us in in our black RS500 after a 'short cut' through Bozeat didn't work !

 

The NMS set up car was truely AWESOME he did a 10.31 quarter with 13? terminal

was my personal best car of the day on the strip

Excellent day, Alot better than i thought it was going to be... Have got loads of Pictures from the show part and a few of the Track action at the end of the day but my camera ran out of battery will try to post them up later tonight Only saw one car from here that i recognised and that was Mikes (Well think it was his?)

 

Yeah got back 9 last night after dropping my mates car to the sprayers and giving him a lift home. Wicked day, proper mashed sat night and great show, just soooo much to look at.

And how cool were the street rods

It does go well...once it's moving. I can't get used to launching yet, and prefered to 'gay it' off the line.
