hey a couple of times in the last week i have opened the bonnet of me s2 and found my oil filler cap sort of wedged between the dizzy and the hermostat housing!

i recently changed my cracked breather pot for an efi one off me 3i, wasnt a perfect fit but made it fit... could it be this?

The engine should die if you remove the oil filler cap. Sounds like there is too much pressure in the system if it's blowing off.

 

i think i might be pressure passin the pistons or something like that i heard! might need new rings

 

fucked breather by sounds of it, check the pipes etc....but if its that bad then as mikey said the rings could be shot

 

get some bodge tape,wont come off anymore!

LOL @ that pic, i remember you booting it and hearing the cap fly off under the bonnet and me breaking my neck turning round to see where it landed
