Hi there, a lad offered me a Fiesta Rs Turbo on a G reg, did they even make them on this reg ? A reply would be really greatful

 

yep but not many, it should say fiesta RS turbo on the log book.if it's a converted xr2i it will only say fiesta turbo.

oh and mines a G reg RS turbo

 

The lad said its a rs turbo, its got the pop out back windows, didnt have a spoiler but has now, plus the steering wheels isnt the 3 spoke one that comes with the fiesta rst standard, the leather one, its more like an xr2i steering wheel, it hasnt got the green stripe going round the car and on the bumpers like yours has on you sig.
He said there was only 10 G reg one's made.
A just dont want to be buying an xr2i with a turbo engine.

On your sig did you fit them mirror's ? cause there from a fiesta si arnt they ?

 

yeah they are from a later spec festa. just ask to see the logbook, if it is a conversion it will only say fiesta turbo. green stripe could have been removed, it should have had a spoiler fitted and the three spoke leather steering wheel with turbo written on the centre piece. what is the registration number of the car? i should be able to check what it is registered as.

 

also look at the front bumper in between the headlights if its a genuine turbo bumper it will have no holes on that top surface unlike the XR2i which has holes so the grill can be fitted.......

 

Look on the carpet under the mats and make sure it dont and hasnt said XR2I in blue m8..
