I'll be selling my car very soon maybe in a few weeks, so my next car i really want rwd.

Mk1 & mk2 escorts are way out of my price range before you all start.

Looking at ebay i've been watching mantas gte or exclusives & capris, capris seem to be going a fair sight cheaper than mantas due to there being alot of them i guess.

I'd like to do an xe conversion in either just not sure on mounts in the capri.

So if i sold my car sold a few bits & bobs thats i reckon around £1600 to play with 6 or 700 for the capri & 900 for whatever.

If i got the manta thats 1500 for a solid one & not much else to play with.

With the capri i'd only be after a 2.0 sport as with most there cheap & most are black.



Or suggest something else

Quick question will 3door sierra cossie rims fit on the capri the bbs style ones.

 

Nice one i just checked it out & found a thread on fitting an xe to a capri seems its just the same as doing it all in a manta .

 

I'm only after a 2.0 s mk3 they really are cheap at the moment.

The was another which was a ground up rebuild of a carbed v6 capri only went for £660

Very cheap & plenty of money left over to play.
