Bit of a dillema. Shall i take this to the body shop & let them charge the earth to repair the boot or get a new boot & pay the earth getting the whole bootlid sprayed. Do you think the boot can be repaired or will the body shop tell me to change the boot. Any idea's.

Shite! Didnt know if it would be cheaper to get it repaired. Finding an ash black mk6 boot lid is as rare as rocking horse shit. Can find every other colour, but....

 

Where abouts are you as i have some very nice scrappys near me that have lots of mk 6 in ,take your time and hunt one down

Like i said, can easily find a boot lid, just not in ash black. Really trying to avoid getting a spray job. Coz i know there not cheap.

 

there will be some mate, just keep hunting! that could be fixed but more bother than its worth and prob cost you too, plus spraying. .im sure someone wil paint a lid for you for a reasonable price!
