A mate of mine is thinking of putting rear discs on his series one. He is not sure which brakes would fit best and how much work is involved.

Any help would be much appreciated.

fezzy xr2 My m8 wul young just put discs on the rear of his s1, he got the kit from hi spec motorsport am sure it was around Ł550, they use vauxhall calipers as they are smaller and you don't need to use a bias valve. Pretty straight forward fitment and it looks great!

 

as my mate says i got kit from hi spec Ł550,u get everything to do conversion,really easy to fit and workes really well,no need to run bias valve either.which saves a bit messing about.

 

 

I got mine for a whopping Ł220 brand new all in fitted. Ł550 is a fookin fortune

 

cliff, what size discs u using and what kind calipers?

 

It's a Ford Focus rear disc conversion. I believe they are 260 mm discs
with an rs2000 handbrake cable.

I see you got yours from Hi Spec?

 

Where did u get the focus rear kit from mate who fitted it?

 

I got it off of Gadget on here, but that was quite a while ago.
Nearly 2 years though. Gadget fitted it for me.
