I'd recomend a full kit,

ive heard people changing plates then still having problems.....

Not worth the risk imo............

Cheers Rob,

thats what i thought, but me old man keeps moaning how much they cost lol and said if it was him then he just get a new plate he does my head in lol.

rob my saph is stage1 265bhp, would a standard clutch be fine in this or not. i got a price from my local specialst n he said 300quid for a standard clutch supplied n fitted.

standard ford clutches USED to be good for upto around 300bhp - but they then changed their supplier and now they are useless for that sort of power

go for an alcon 6 spring 6 padle clutch - not to snappy in traffic i hear

www.burtonpower.com - have a look on there - but look at it this way - you'll not be able to kill it no matter how hard you launch the car, however, you may end up buying shares with people who have spare diffs

get your cover resurfaced (skimmed) and use a alcon 6 paddle plate with std cover. You will also need to removed and skimmed / resurfaced.

If you dont do this your new clutch wont last long.

if youve got ot take gearbox may aswell do it once do it right
