Damo - I hope I'm not rubbing anything in here....but does this mean you have a SECS monitor and it was faulty at the time your problem happened, and it would've been ok if the monitor had been fully functional? Like I say, if I'm right, I know it's sore hearing things like this that you already know

Damo no problems i glad its sorted out sorry for any delay me and nick have made it priority to try and repair and return any faulty units within 7 days but please guys if you have any problems with units contact mike as he is now sole outlet for product and he will sort you out heeman 10 the monitor only displays what your ecu sees and displays it on a screen ,charge temp ,coolant temp, voltage at ecu ,throttle position as percentage ,revs on( later versions ) and the user can set alarms if any of the following should go over user set limits theunit switches on a warning lamp. You can also control water injection as unit has built in driver .lastly it also shows boost pressure, user selectable map sensor type 2 or 3 bar although it has all these facilities it will not stop your engine blowing up as it cannot make any alterations to the map in the ecu.it only displays what the sensors in the car are showing the ecu as an electrical voltage or resistance then converts the signal into user friendly numbers that the user can see as a temperature or a pressure ect

Are you confusing the monitor with the ECU?? Simon has a few products.

Nice one Damo.

Paul.
