Whys my cossie sound like its got a bag of nails rattling around inside the engine??

Would it be simply the crap oil thats in it??

 

15/50 oil may help to shut it up a bit, but might be something more serious.

4x4 engines don't suffer from piston slap.

some 4x4 do suffer also for some reason although very few do due to having off set gudgeon pins!

Well TBH she been in Grove's a few times & they reckon she runs & sounds sweet, might be me just being paranoid its gonna go pop!

 

no harm in changing the oil any way. although 15/50 is 30 quid a bottle. and ur gonna need 2 of them.

I'm pretty sure it's you m8 as I saw this a couple of weeks or so ago and sounded ok although who ever was driving it DIDN'T want to play on a private race strip


change the oil and filter m8 should be fine

Deffo wasn't me drive Al, everytime i'm out in it no fecker wants a play!! I would of been up for the crack! On a private road obviously!

I've got either Mobil 1 15w-50 or oilmans Silkolene pro s 10w-50 in mind, anybody got thier own opinion on whats best??
