Car hesitating
Right this is a strange one.
Its only happened since once again fitting the Bailey Breather kit.
I can be cruising down a road and all of a sudden car jerks very slightly then drives like normal again.
Doesnt happen in any particular gear or any sort of revs.
Is totally random.
Any ideas?

nice aRSe...just reading about the kit and it says
"The small amount of unwanted oil vapours thet are separated from the oil are vented under the car to atmosphere."
dunno if that means anything....

Ive rang bailey just mate cheers.
You do connect the bottom breather pipe back into the metering head. He said i may have an air leak where the grommet is going into the metering head so i will check this later

i have a bailey breather, i've blocked the pipe that goes into the metering head, the one that would have gone into the metering head from the pot now goes under the car into atmosphere but i think for polution laws your not really supposed to do this, thats maybe why mr bailey advissed against it. but either way it shouldn't cause any running problems so i'd check all pipes are secure and undamaged.
hope you get it sorted.

Because the breather is making things flow easier and the intake plenum no longer receiving vacuum from the standard breathing system.
Or summat like that all i know is its fine now and thats all that matters
Car will still start in winter without it anyway, just need to pump the accelerator a bit first
