i took my car for an mot and it failed. i have got everything sorted except the wheels are rubbing the arches at the front. They are 17" and are on a 1988 escort cab.
What can i do to overcome this problem? I dont have a spare set of 15" wheels with decent tyres sat around unfourtunatly!
Why are they rubbing tho? How low is the car, surely there is a problem with the suspension setup? Ir is it they are catching on lock? If it is all ok then i'd raise the suspension a tad
yeah i've had this, rubbing on full lock just stick some 15's on for the mot and change em back over later, it's perfectly legal in a way, as soon as you drive out the station ur car is fit whatever hapens after that is ur busines

Your wrong, a car can pass an MOT and be non road worthy the day after.
