Default wheels rubbing arches mot fail!!!

hi guys,

i took my car for an mot and it failed. i have got everything sorted except the wheels are rubbing the arches at the front. They are 17" and are on a 1988 escort cab.

What can i do to overcome this problem? I dont have a spare set of 15" wheels with decent tyres sat around unfourtunatly!

Cheers

Jonny

Why are they rubbing tho? How low is the car, surely there is a problem with the suspension setup? Ir is it they are catching on lock? If it is all ok then i'd raise the suspension a tad

Your wrong, a car can pass an MOT and be non road worthy the day after.

An MOT is only based on the DAY it was tested

I think he means the car is fit its passed the test you can go put your wheels back on and make it (apperantly) unroad worthy
