4x4 SIERRA FRONT END
Any of you guys run adjustable set ups ie tca's , compression struts , eccentric top mounts on your road cars ?
What toe in , castor and camber do you set them to improve turn in and help stop the understeer
How long do the tyres last
Oh yeah , is escos rear arb a straight swap at the back ? (20mm aint it)
Cheers in advance

Me neither, just i remembered someone mentioning once, something to do with the fact that they are actually 2 pieces which are screwed together as opposed to one piece which is the standard set up and they wont pass an mot, like i said i am not 100% sure so could be wrong.

yer, there has been no problems with ones ive had,
as for ajusting them yes its not ideal if you try and get them near right, you need to get to a garage that does full lazer tracking, they can set them up for you, this is the better method realy. as you need a dead level slab to park the car on to messure from.
i have done mine a few times but its not that easey to get them dead right both sides.
to get the best out of them they need to be the same each side, also you dont need to much neg-camber, i set mine as per the standard settings, so even with the car lowered it has the same camber as standard, this gives the best tyre foot print.
however,if you wish to play with this camber, bear in mind,, if you do run some extra neg-camber this does effect straight line stabbility with some gains for cornering, less camber and it goes straight as arrow but you loose a tad on corners,,
i have found standard camber it is fine at speed in a straight line and reasonable cornering, best for road use realy.

Car only comes out to play sometimes ( some on track ) and when it does I like the best cornering I can get hence trying to find a really good set up . Put it to standard settings when installed but now want to play with cam/cast/toe to get a really responsive car!
Keep it coming
