Closed Loop wiring
I have a H reg sapph 4x4 with older wiring as opposed to the late sapphs.
Firstly, what kind of wiring is it ? Ive forgotten
Secondly. When i was down and MSD stu breifly mentioned closed loop wiring but said as i only do 4/5k a year the cost probably wouldnt be worth my while.
Im still intrigued, can someone enlighted me to the advantages of closed loop and what it involves & cost etc.
Thanks.

I had stu fit closed loop fuelling to my 2wd saff.It worked a treat.I was getting up to 38mpg from my stage 3 car.I have removed it now due to a new engine.I still have the full kit at home with instructions. If you are interested in buying it then let me know mate.

sygjim i was going through my emails the other day and recognised your name from when i bought a 3 bar map sensor off you from ebay some time ago.
for a 4x4, if it's a red top model, you will need the lambda sensor wiring up to the ecu, but you can do that yourself. then all you need is a chip from either a green top ecu if you only want a standard map, or you need one from stu or elsewhere that has the closed loop routine written in to it.
stu has a winter sale, see his post in the general section. £220 for a L8 closed loop chip.
