coz mine does and yet a quite a few 've noticed don't.

if you take it off,and you have a dv,seriously,ive seen a bonnet bulge from the heat off the constant blowoff!

not running a dv any more, yeah it deffo staying just noticed that my new baileys header tank was catching it an the bonnet wasn't shutting correctly

I took mine off because the cross over pipe kept rubbing on it, and it looks sooo much nicer without it. I have a large triangle of heat proofing in the centre instead above the engine.
