Default Accralite Piston problems?

My engine siezed up a week ago and after taking the engine out and the sump off i found a worn shell and assumed it was that. Anyway took the crank out and it turns out No3 conrod is siezed in the piston or the gudgen pin is siezed in there. What was the problems people were saying about accralite pistons from burtons? I need some guidence before i phone them and kick off!

how long would it take to sieze with low oil pressure though? i think it's strange how an area that has no direct oil feed would sieze so quickly? could it be a piston fittment error?? is that possible?

not long with no oil pressure mate, but could also be a failure somewhere... who built it?
