ill try to explain,,,,looking at the fuse box from north to south its the first fuse in the right corner nearest to u ,keeps blowing when i tur my ignition on .ive changed my petrol tank and everthing was ok for a week checked all wiring from tank up to fuse box ,could it be the purple fuel relay box ???????????car starts when i put two wires from fuel pump direct to battrey ??please help

 

You haven't trapped the wires when you fitted the tank have you? Worth checking out.

 

just had tank off and checked wires right up to fuse box all ok,can only get car started by wiring two wires from fuel pump direct to battrey put a switch in dash board to turn it on when driving but thats not safe is it really fckin thing its that bad thought of getting a fcukin saxo

 

just try taking the purple fuel pump relay out and bridging with a small bit of wire pins 30 and 87 (red wire and red/black wire) you should hear the fuel pump, just dont leave it pumping to long without starting the engine

if it starts ok then the relay is fucked
