Default Can Magnesium wheels be refurbed?

These aren't that bad, don't have curbs just battle scared. Can they just be rubbed down and repainted by a body shop or can a wheel refurber powder coat them etc?

Maybe a silly question but are they totally made of magnesium or is it a magnesium alloy... still one on the bonfire on Guy Fawkes

Alloy
(well normally, obviously cant comment on your actualy wheels, but magnesium is very soft in pure form so it seems a bit unlikely that they would be pure mag)
