price usually reflects on quality and nowadays not much seems to be made to last, everything is cheap and tacky.
or am i just getting old?
i think you would get a better long term deal spending twice as much on a proper professional camping shops tent thats made to actually be used for its purpose rather than a cheap department store one that they will expect the user to only use a couple of times and get bored.

You mean like buying one on offer for near half price from a shop that specialises in car parts?

i had to buy a trolley jack from halfords on a rally in aberdeen as we forgot to put ours in the van,it cost twice as much as the ones i normally use and is significantly poorer quality.and apart from the proffesional tool range they do specialize in shit car parts really dont they!

Could allways go down the Ebay route, got a 3 section 6 man off there for Ł58 a few weeks ago, quality seems as good as the Ł100+ ones a i looked at in the specialist shops!

Millets sometimes have some good prices, or try www.gearzone.co.uk

Just make sure it doesnt end up like mine at national day last year!!

Cheers to Dumped and Steven_RW for burning my tent down!!
