plans are: well,i already have LOADS of bits,1.8zvh bottom end,stage 2 head,piper285t2 cam,vernier pulley, escos t28 turbo, mf2 5th injector controller, grp a coil, c59c plugs, silicone hoses, 2wd cossie cooler,17 inch alloys, s2 rst brakes, s2 rst suspension, ahmed bayjoo chipped ecu,2x cobra seats,1 harness at the mo,ive stripped the interior completely,shes gonna fly!!!!! and all of the above has cost me circa 800 quid!!! wish me luck and welders can ya give me a rough price i should budget for, cheers.

 

id charge about Ł100-Ł150 absoloute max to fix that

update here! well,its in the garage at work now,and the stripping has begun!taken the turbo off,bugger me,was hard as fook!didnt realise the rad needed to come out 1st so was swearing to buggery trying to get it out before i thought i would do it properly and loosen the rad! also in the top pics the paint looks VERY pink,so i used a bit of autoglym on her and shes coming up a little better now,t cut next i think!

found a bit more rust when removing the bumper(gotta cut the foam out of it to fit me 2wd cossie cooler!

how bad is it doc?

Looks like skimmed 1.8 pistons to me where you get it from ?Rolls by any chance?

hope this aint too boring,but ive never done stuff like this all myself before! am gonna put new bottom end bearings on the zvh,so any suggestions on which are best?
also i might be able to get hold of some rs1600 dials (they look proper tasty!) reckon theyll fit?
also is the rs1600i ARB better than my xr3i one?and will it fit?cheers!

its the std rs one in that pack matey!unless thats wrong?been told they are the best,and will fit a 1.8zvh nicely?

total so faris about 1100 quid,but i now have enough bits to build about 3 engines! those pistons i asked about turned out to be accralites! but one of them seems to have been dropped from apollo 13 on re entry to earth,the crown is fine,BUT the sides are scorched in scores as if its come through the atmosphere! thatll be why it was knocking a little! and it is also very tight on the pin,so ill replace that,but otherwise the engine is in good nick,ill get pics up soon!

 

another update,pics later,got me 2wd cossie cooler and metal adaptor pipe sorted,and modified the bumper so itll fit in there,that takes a while i can tell ya! also got me 4 paddle cletch and yesterday i picked up a rather nice gearbox and a set of konis,not much left to get now!then it all needs bolting together and welding,anyone in the cardiff/wales area know of or can do this?cheers
