How much would you ask for this if you were to sell it?
Hi,
Thinking of selling (if I do sell will go Gold) my 1989 Sierra XR4x4.
The car is probably the best in the country spec as follows:
White
20,052 miles from new with 5 services having been done, the last one by the local Ford dealer 2 months ago. All bills and report sheet for last service also. How many 16 year old cars would go to a Ford main dealer and need no work whatsoever done and all the checks ticked in the green section.
Old tax discs.
All old MOT's
Bodywork literally as new with no dinks, dents or rust whatsover. Car has been cleaned underneath since new. No scratches or scrapes. Wheels unmarked. No paintwork EVER been done on the car including the wheels.
Thatcham 1 alarm fitted 2 months ago. Certificate to prove and still under guarantee. Central locks on the remote to doors and hatch.
Un-cracked dashboard.
Interior as new.
Engine bay close to as new.
New and unused parcel shelf from a Sierra Cosworth so has box on it. Original item also included.
5 new Goodyear NCT's fitted 6 months ago. Spare unused.
New front windscreen as first has stone dink.
New wipers all round.
Ford optional RS wheel.
Up until 6 months ago, always run with bonnet and glass protectors, so no stone chips.
I bought the car 6 months ago for £2250 (which I thought was very cheap) and have spent just over £1500 on it since. It drives literally like new.
How much should I ask for it, as I am not desperate to sell, but fancy a new car (I am one of those saddos that like bringing a good car to perfect condition and then lose interest!) and have another Ford being a one owner XR3i MKIII?
