Default s1 box in an s2?

can i do this?on a zvh engine,so would i need a s1 flywheel/clutch?cheers

na dont need a different flywheel but will need S1 gearbox brackets and Anti-roll bar

where do i get these?how much approx?and do they just fit on?cheers,obviously could get them 2nd hand,BUT is it that expensive?

no you don't.....

When I bought my S2 it had an S1 box on it and there was nothing different about the ARB and brackets

I'll elaborate....

the gearbox brackets on the S2 only bolt on to the doulbe ended bolts that hold the box together, the S1 box hasn't got these so you just rob them off your S2 box, swap them over and the gearbox mount brackets will fit

I found my S1 box loads better to drive cos of the different gearing and LSD, just a shame I killed it after 2 weeks....

i personally dont see why were messing about with fords when evos are much better cars


oh and personally remember the S1 box has shorter ratios so more wheel spin

i got a S1 box if anyones interested btw

ya dont get wet when ya car brakes down though or if ya leave ya hand brake off ya aint gotta call the coast gaurd and collect it from malta docks
